    Economy Cannot Rise Until Police Work Properly: Biplab Deb

    In a bid to maintain law and order in the state, the Tripura government flagged off 261 beat patrol vehicles of the state police today

    Tripura Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb on August 12th, 2019, said the economy cannot rise unless the police work properly being 24 hours awake. “Government is investing in making “Smart Police”. Every constable should be always alert to watch what is happening around them. Peace-loving society will keep us united. Everyone has to be practically sound and alert in order for this investment to be fruitful,” Deb said.  Besides, Deb said, “The Tripura police have to act responsibly. Tripura is a small state, Tripura Police can do it.”

    In a bid to maintain law and order in the state, the Tripura government flagged off 261 beat patrol vehicles of the state police today. “Constables with bikes now can do regular patrolling in each area to maintain law and order. It is going to be a big milestone for Tripura police. I want to make the Tripura police self-contained,” CM Deb said.  He further said that the state government is working hard and committed to make the state a smart city in all aspect.

    Being acquainted about the setbacks of the police and their living, the CM promised to solve the problems once he receives the budget of 15th Finance Commission.
