    Parikrama’s New Music Video Is All About The Breathtaking Beauty Of Arunachal’s Mechuka Valley

    The Delhi-based band has shot their second official video ‘Tears of the Wizard’ in the scenic location of Mechuka. The Arunachal Pradesh government thanked the band for choosing the breathtakingly beautiful place

    Mechuka, a small town nestled in the Mechuka valley in Shi-Yomi district of Arunachal Pradesh is a nature’s haven. This time, you will get a chance to witness the breathtaking beauty of the place in iconic rock-and-roll band Parikrama‘s upcoming music video.

    The Delhi-based band has shot their second official video ‘Tears of the Wizard’ in the scenic location of Mechuka. The Arunachal Pradesh government thanked the band for choosing the breathtakingly beautiful place.

    The band which was formed way back in the year 1991, released the teaser of this new song on their YouTube channel on July 19th, 2019 and fans are already asking for more. The song is inspired by the character of Gandalf the Grey from The Lord of the Rings.

    The nine-member band took to Twitter and announced that the song ‘Tears of the Wizard’ was shot in the scenic Mechuka valley, only 29 kilometres away from Indo-China border. The band wrote, “The grasslands in #mechuka are trampled into patterns, not by human feet but by the #wind | #tearsofthewizard #totw.”

    Parikrama has several live performances and original numbers to their name and it was featured in 2014 ’25 Greatest Indian Rock Songs of the last 25 years’ by Rolling Stone India for its ‘But It Rained’ which was released in the year 1996. The band’s first song ‘Xerox’ was named ‘the face of Indian rock’.

    The band is known for its fusion music which is a blend of both traditional and conventional musical instruments. They have been inspired and influenced by the likes of Pink Floyd, the famous English rock band and many others.
